Description

Brew, pray, build!

Ora et Labora is one of Uwe Rosenbergs big games and combines the best from Le Havre and Agricola and adds some new spices to the mix. Extending player boards, dynamic resource production and two scenarios (France and Ireland) guarantee a lot of replayablillity. Ora et Labora is a game about developing your own monastery religion-wise as well as economically. It supports solo-play, offers a short game variant and includes special "Introduction Rules" which allows for a quick start with new players.

The current version is a reworked reprint of the original game which includes higher quality game boards (also available for owners of earlier versions through our online shop - only as long as stock lasts).

FAQ

The game boards in my game are thin as paper. Is this right?

In that case you own a first print edition of "Ora et Labora". When we released the game back in 2011 paper was unusual expensive and producing the game boards in our usual quality was not possible (or we had to sell the game for at least 5 - 10€ more). Later reprints have thick game boards again. Depending on your likings you can either use the thin game boards (mechanic-wise they are working as good as the thick ones) or buy thick replacement boards from our online shop (only as long as stock lasts).
