Summer of events and our autumn releases

Go on a new journey with Forest Shuffle

A collage on the background of the box of the game showing an illustration of a wide heathland landscape with a few ponies, as well as a 3D mockup of the box on which sits a bird. There is also a textbox in top saying: The start of a new journey!. Ant there is a textbox on which sits a little mouse that says: Coming October 2025.

In the last two years, Forest Shuffle from Kosch has taken you to the mixed forests of Europe. Now it's time to discover more of this beautiful planet. In Forest Shuffle: Dartmoor, the new stand-alone of the beloved card game, we take you with us to the moor and heathland landscape of the British Dartmoor National Park.

We have remained true to the core of the game. So you can look forward to beautiful illustrations by Toni Llobet and Judit Piella again this time. And it is still your goal to create an ecological balanced habitat for flora and fauna. But with the new landscape comes not only new species, but also a new twist .

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consetetur sadipscing elitr, sed diam

In contrast to the familiar trees and shrubs, the new terrains are played horizontally and thus offer even more variation. These and other changes bring a breath of fresh air to the forest and let you discover many new strategies.

Forest Shuffle: Dartmoor will be released this October at Spiel 2025, Essen. Even before that, you can make your first excursions into the atmospheric moorland at various events.

An epic duell on the streets of New York

A collage on a background fading from dark to light blue, the box of the game, and a mockup of the components. On top there's the title: An epic duell!. On the bottom right there's a text saying: Coming October 2025.

In MARVEL: Skirmish! In New York, old friends and enemies meet for an epic battle of good versus evil. Who will prevail? Doctor Strange and Hulk, or Ultron and Loki? Take the side of the Heroes or Villains and claim control of the city.

A collage on a background fading from dark to light blue, with a thunderbold with several strands starting in the middle of the graphic. The left side of the thunderbold is yellow, the right side red. On the collage as well is each one of the cards of Captain Marvel and Loki, as well as several multicolored damage tokens, and a title saying: Heroes or Vilians?

In the latest entry in our Games for Two series, Matthias Cramer reinterpreted this eternal battle. The asymmetrical decks of cards offer strategic depth and high replayability. With your decision for either heroes or villains you also decide for the strengths and weaknesses of the various characters. They look fantastic, by the way, thanks to the original comic artwork.

In stores this October

Will you seize control of the streets of New York? Will you take advantage of valuable artefacts and strategically important locations? Find out in October 2025, when MARVEL: Skirmish! In New York is released at Spiel in Essen !

Cooperation with the German Architecture Museum

A collage of two pictures. The left one is showing the game Plan.Spiel.Stadt from above, all setup on a black table. The right one shows the same table from afar. Next to it are two persons in business casual style clothes, smiling at the camera and putting their hand on the game’s box. In the background there’s the exhibition. There are two texts on the collage. The title says: Plan.Spiel.Stadt. The subtitle says: A special cooperation.

What could the urban district of the future look like? What do its residents need? What are the effects of climate protection, mobility, social integration and demographic change? These are not questions that usually occupy us as a small board game publisher. But when the German Architecture Museum (DAM) in Frankfurt asked us in spring 2024 whether we wanted to work through these and other questions together with them in a board game, we were thrilled.

The occasion for this is the exhibition „Stadt Bauen Heute?“ , which can be seen at the DAM from 28 June to 2 November 2025. Instead of an exhibition catalogue, you can slip into the role of the city administration, investors or environmentalists thanks to the accompanying board game „Plan.Spiel.Stadt“.

Plan.Spiel.Stadt, published by the German Architecture Museum, was created in cooperation between the Department of Education and Lookout. It complements the exhibition and offers an insight into the complex process of modern district planning and its challenges. The game is only available in German in the course of the exhibition at the DAM.

Sir Ocelot's or Professor Penguin's Cave?

A picture of the game mat with some gemstone tokens blurred in the background. In focus is another gemstone token siting upright in the mat surrounded by 3 tool tokens. Put on the picture is the box of the game and a text saying: Coming May 2025. On top of it is the title: A duell among friends!

Explore a newly discovered cave system as Sir Ocelot or Professor Penguin and compete for precious gemstones found inside. The prize for this little friendly competition is nothing less than the right to name this newly discovered location.

On your side are your tools and your trusty companion. Place them around the perimeter of the caves. Once the visual axis of three different tools 'encircles' a valuable item, you can retrieve the treasure. Who will gather the most valuable collection of gemstones and win the game?

Sir Ocelot's Cave is the latest entry in our series of Games for Two. The game, designed by Chis Dahlmann and illustrated by Marion Sonet, will send you on an adventure at the end of May.

The Gnomes are coming! We need your help!

A collage with the preview cover of the game where you can see a bunch of Nirds with a shadow of a gnome underneath, both seperated by the logo of the game. Next to it is a gnome with a sigh saying GO AWAY and two Nirds (birds), all in a comic style. There's also the logo of Board Game Arena with the text: Play online on. The collage is titled with: We need YOU in Nirds vs. Gnomes! The background consists of two toned green stripes going out from the middle like lightbeams.

Nirds vs. Gnomes is a cooperative dice game where you command an army of nerdy birds (Nirds) to survive incoming waves of garden gnomes and their boss.

The rules are straight forward but winning takes some teamwork! Yes, this game is highly cooperative. And we want to bring this game to the next level by adding YOU to the team.

This game sounds right up your alley? Dive into Nirds vs. Gnomes auf Board Game Arena and let us know your thoughts and honest opinion on the game. Of course, our team will join games here and there. And we'd like to discuss ideas with you in the BGA-Forum .

We'll share more on that project over the next months here, on BGA and on our social media channels. We’re looking forward to your feedback and to a lot of wild games of Nirds vs. Gnomes with you!
