Announcement: El Paso & the Board Game Road

The foundation for the Lookout Forest has been laid!

A picture of several people standing behind a small truck in a lush green environment. On the left on a tree a sigh says BOARD GAME ROAD. On the picture are the logos of Lookout Games and Click a Tree and a text saying: Lookout joins the the BOARD GAME ROAD

We, the whole Lookout team, are very grateful for 2024 as it was a good year for us! New colleagues joined the team, we met so many of you at various events and, of course, brought some new board games to your tables. And we're particularly proud that part of them expanded our Lookout GreenLine! We want to give something back.

That's why Lookout Games is joining the Board Game Road!

The Board Game Road is a project of Click a Tree in cooperation with several companies and persons of the board game industry. The goal is to create a healthy forest along a rural road in Ghana, the eponymous Board Game Road, and invest in the local community.

We know that planting a forest isn't done in a day. That's why this forest is supposed to be growing over time. Each year new trees will be planted. The first trees for the Lookout Forest are on their way!

We’re spotting on the horizon… El Paso!

A collage with the box of El Paso and two text inserts. Insert 1: There is a new game in town!, insert 2: Coming April 2025. In the background is a picure with a red and a yellow meeple of the game and a blurred card and the box.

Attention hobby ranchers! Get your cattle to El Paso. It’s worth it! At least, if, instead of real cows, you bring your Shorthorns, Simmentals and Galloways of Great Western Trail: El Paso to town there. Fans of the Great Western Trail series and all of you who feel that the bigger siblings are (sometimes) a tad too big, can look forward to spring. In El Paso, we have packed the well-known Great Western Trail feeling into a compact package. For an introduction to the series, a shorter game night, or to take anywhere.

You want to know more about the game?

We will share a look into the box and many more interesting details on our social media channels over the coming weeks.

When will you be able to collect your first cattle?

Great Western Trail: El Paso will hit the European markets in the second half of April. Shipping to the US and Asia will take a little longer. Sales in the US and Canada will start with Gen Con in Indianapolis from July 31 to August 3, 2025.
